Season 2018-2019

Our Theatre. Our Stories.

What's different about a Confrontation Theatre show? Well for starters we explore the Black experience from a Black perspective. So all of our stories showcase the reality of being an African American. Our plays are for us and by us, but we welcome all to come and experience a perspective that may be different than their own. On top of a genuine Black experience, we proudly display new work. By staying current, Confrontation Theatre can explore new playwrights and tell stories that you may have never heard before. Our goal? To create a window into what Black life in America is actually like. We invite you to sign up to our email list to stay current and recieve access to our updates and promotions. Ase!

Directed by La’Tevin Alexander

A story of one girl’s journey to understanding herself. She sits, vaping at the edge of a bridge. She is joined by a young man. And as they talk, her intention for being there becomes all too clear. And now question remains: will she take the leap, or will the leap take her?<< New text box >>
